Increasing speed with Website Optimization
The speed of you website can be increased by selecting Website Optimization in your cPanel and selecting type "Compress All Content".
Website optimization will compress the files sent over the internet, by removing "white space" and using other techniques.
Podcasts
If you have some self-hosted podcasts, then Optimising with type "Compress All Content" might prevent the podcast player from seeing the duration of the podcast and so will also prevent the progress bar showing how much of the podcast has so far been played.
In these situations the third option "Compress the specified MIME types." should be selected. In this case the optimization can be better tuned by replacing the contents of the MIME type box with:
text/html text/plain text/xml application/javascript font/opentype image/svg+xml text/css text/javascript
