cPanel®
cPanel is the World’s favourite control panel. It is also the most expensive panel for us to license on your behalf. We supply it free to you with you hosting. Its main advantages are:
Easy of use, Full feature set, Standard layout making it easy for a user to quickly work with cPanels on different hosts, The ability for a cPanel user to easily migrate their entire hosting to another cPanel host if they are not happy with the service that they are getting.
PHP Versions
You can choose from a selection of PHP versions, direct from the cPanel. For developers, this allows you to test your code with multiple PHP versions in a matter of minutes. For end users, this allows you to select the optimum version for the application that you are using.
Currently we offer the following “hardened” PHP versions: 5.5, 5.6 and soon 7.0 & 7.1. Soon we will be adding 7.2.
The Version can be set directly from the cPanel, where you can also select additional PHP libraries to install.
Tech Features
SSD Disks
SSD disks are about 800% faster than normal hard disks. Of course, the disks are not the only components in a server, but when combined with Cloud Linux, one should normally find that in a CMS application like WordPress, there is a increase in page loading speed of around 300%.
There is also an improvement in reliability, as SSD disks do not contain moving parts.
Our WordPress Hosting and SSD Hosting uses 100% SSD disks.
E-commerce ready
Our hosting is ready for E-commerce. Our Business and Developer packages include a “Comodo Positive” SSL security certificate for free, but we also sell a variety of SSL certificates and they can be assigned to any of our hosting packages.
We also offer a huge range of e-commerce applications for quick install, including Prestashop, Magento, AbanteCart, OpenCart and more than 30 others.
99.9% Up Time SLA
Our web hosting service comes with a monthly Service Level Agreement, whereby we will refund money to you if we fail to meet our 99.9% server up time guarantee.
Refunds start at 10% for 45 minutes unscheduled downtime in a calendar month and rise to 100% refund for a 8-hour down time. Please see our SLA agreement for more information.
Security
Free Daily Backups
We all hope that we won’t need backups, but eventually something will happen and you will wish that you could restore the website back to a recent version. We keep one backup from the previous day and one back up from the previous week. Some hosting companies charge extra for this facility, but we include the service for free.
Hacker Security
Our servers have Firewalls in place, and the individual hosting accounts are protected with CageFS, which is a virtualized per-user file system that uniquely encapsulates each customer, and prevents targeted attacks from a hacker using another account on the same server.
Spam protection
Our email systems use the new DKIM and SPF systems in assisting email servers to verify messages are unmodified and are from the sender from whom they claim to be. We also offer Apache SpamAssassin™ , which allow you to adjust how severely to judge incoming emails. Using CloudFlare can also protect you from spam WP comments.

24/7 Support
To assist you, we offer 24-hour support, seven days a week. We use a ticketing system that allows you question to be routed to the best available technician for a fast response.
For most issues we aim to have a response for you within one hour.
Video Tutorials
We have made dozens of short video tutorials to assist you in all aspects of our hosting service, from creating email addresses to exporting databases.
These videos will guide through all the steps necessary on our hosting platform without having to read complicated text or contact a support.
Hosting Migration
We can migrate you existing hosting to our servers (including databases and emails), for free if your current control panel for these services is cPanel.
For other control panels, we might be able to do it for free or quote you a price. Please contact us for advice.
Server Resources
Server Resources
Each hosting account has a Lightweight Visualized Environment (LVE) with the following resource limits:
- CPU SPEED=100%
- (PMEM) MEMORY=512MB Dedicated (Up to 1GB Burst RAM)
- IO (Read & write operations limit)=1024KB/s
- NPROC(Max number of processes) =100
- EP (Entry Process Limit)=20
It should be noted that because of the speed of the SSD disks, Entry Processes are normally completed in a much shorter time and so the number of required overlapping EPs is less than with normal server technology.
Inodes
Hosting accounts with huge and unwieldy file structures can severely impact the performance of the server on with all accounts hosted on it. It is for this reason that hosting companies put limits on the number of inodes that can be contained in any individual hosting account.
The number of inodes can basically be thought of as the number of files, but folders and aliases also count as inodes.
At Valor Hosting, we have a soft limit of 125,000 inodes in any one account. This is normally way more than people actually need. If one starts to find that one’s inode count is getting close to the limit then it is most likely being caused by a problem in you configuration, e.g. local cache files not being deleted, an unnoticed default email account receiving numerous spam messages, or maybe on versions of websites that you forgot that you still had.
What happens if my inode count exceeds the maximum?
If you inode number goes higher than 125,000 then we will want to help you sort out the problem. Your site will continue working, but at some point there will be restrictions put on it. If the number of inodes goes higher than 150,000 then the automatic file backup will be suspended.
It is possible that with some of our very big multi-domain packages that you might legitimately reach the limit. In such a case we can assist in splitting the single large account into smaller accounts, each with their own separate resources, thereby assuring you that your websites will continue to operate with the best of performance.
The inode limit is not some secret punishment or method of stopping you from growing you business. It is a way of preventing the servers from losing performance.
